CM Maryam Nawaz announces Maryam Ki Dastak App

Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, announced the launch of “Maryam Ki Dastak”, on Tuesday at a hotel. This app aims to simplify governmental procedures by bringing their services to citizens’ doorsteps.

Initially, the app will offer 10 services. These services include domicile, e-stamping, birth certificate, death certificate, marriage certificate, divorce certificate, motor vehicle transfer, property tax, token tax, and new vehicle registration.

Government representatives will now visit citizens’ homes to handle all the documentation for these services. Once everything is processed, the certificates will be conveniently delivered right to your doorstep.

This tackles the issue of long-standing lines, confusing paperwork, and multiple visits to government offices.

Citizens can access these services through a dedicated phone number, mobile app, and public portal. Citizens can order services via the Web Portal, Mobile App, or Call Centre 1202. They would also be able to track applications using their Tracking ID.

At the moment only the app is functional. All you need to do is complete the sign-up procedure and you can avail all the mentioned services. After signing up, you are directed to the home page which shows the available services.

After selecting the service you are required to mention your address, and district and upload the necessary documents. The delivery charges of the services are between 1000-1200 depending on the service. The delivery time also varies for each service taking between 15-19 days.

Furthermore, to improve accessibility and convenience it also provides multiple payment options. You can download the app by using the link

At the launch event, Maryam Nawaz also said that this new app would provide 70,000 new jobs, particularly for Punjabi youth. These positions will offer competitive daily wages of up to 10,000 rupees. To be eligible, applicants simply need to register through the app. The initiative has already begun with 150 new hires who will start working soon, and the program aims to reach a total of 100,000 employees.

She further highlighted that this would present a significant opportunity for deserving students and graduates facing unemployment. One of the major job roles is the position of a facilitator which would provide these services to the citizen’s doorstep.

The eligibility criteria for becoming a facilitator are simple and include
